COVID-19 Information

At Ducharme General Surgery, we care about the health of our patients, our staff and our community.  It is for this reason that we are taking many proactive measures to protect against the spread of COVID-19

At Ducharme General Surgery we remain focused on caring for our patients by providing high quality healthcare services when you need them.  Our practice is open and continues to see patients for your health care needs

Our patients are our primary concern.  Please see the measures below that have been put into place to allow us to safely provide high quality care for you during this current COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Unless otherwise stated, Ducharme General Surgery is currently open for business with regular office hours of 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM – 02:00 PM Friday. Existing and new patients are welcome, if they are symptom-free of illness.
  • We are also offering Telemedicine appointments, please contact our office at (520) 526-2325.
  • If you are more comfortable waiting in your car, rather than our waiting room, that is an option also. You will need to complete all of the new patient paperwork, make a copy of your ID and insurance card (both sides) and make your copayment over the phone.  Call the office (520) 526-2325 to let us know when you have arrived.  We will call you when your exam room has been disinfected and is ready for you, and then once you enter the building, we will escort you directly to your exam room.
  • Our standard sterilization and infection control practices exceed all state and federal guidelines, including the elimination of all infectious virus and bacteria. COVID-19 is no exception.  In addition, we are taking extra measures to protect you, including wiping treatment areas and common countertops, door handles and restrooms.
  • If you or someone in your family is currently experiencing ANY symptoms of illness (fever, cough, flu-like symptoms etc) during the last 14 days prior to your scheduled appointment, please notify our office, and we will be happy to reschedule you to a future date.
  • If you have a family member accompany you to your visit, please limit to 1 individual

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.  Please contact our office with any questions at (520) 526-2325.
